office email humor

why do I find office humor so funny? Not the chain emails that everyone forwards. But little work related comments like:

me: I won't have time to make any changes to the draft that week. Don't worry, I will just make sure the draft is perfect so their are no comments.
other1: Just don't tell the client it's possible to do something right the first time.
other2: as always.

Okay... now that i typed that out it's really not funny AT ALL. Yet i sat here and read those two responses about 3 times each and thought that they were the funniest things ever.

I think i need a drink.
