in order for hens to lay eggs? I'm assuming yes.
We're watching a taped episode of survivor. One group just won a bunch of chickens and a rooster. One guy almost killed the rooster for breakfast. Isn't that a really stupid thing to do?

You only need a rooster if you want fertilized eggs. Hens will lay eggs regardless if there is a rooster present.
Wow, Kenzie has a bike?!?! We just bought Alex a trike with a handle! He has mastered it already, so I am guessing a bike is not too far behind. Christmas? Birthday?
