Vacation Summary

The Good

Andrea and Chris are in love and married.

Kenzie walked down the aisle.

CJ looked so darn handsome.

Kenzie behaved the whole time (pre-wedding dinner, wedding, post-wedding brunch).

I found an outfit to wear to the wedding that I liked.

Kenzie and Chris’s son, Isaac (he’s 5) became best friends and decided to get married.

I met up with my friends Ewa and Kat.

CJ and I went out together a few times without kids.

We are home now. Tired, but home safe.

The Bad

The shoes I bought KILLED and made me unable to walk.

I never had any cake.

Kim had an allergic reaction at the wedding (her husband had eaten something with mustard and then kissed her), which resulted in CJ and Sean disappearing in search of Benadryl for over an hour.

I didn’t get to meet “Mabeline” Linda.

There was some stress at my mum’s house.

Our flight home on Monday was cancelled. We didn’t find out until we got to the airport to check in (we had already returned the car).

Both kids got sick.

The amusing

The spa gave me a complimentary mimosa because I was the maid of honor. Andrea was given lemon tea.

It was so hot during the ceremony that the rabbi stopped mid-service to give Chris a Kleenex to mop up his sweating brow.

Andrea’s speech. It was so great! Everyone laughed and cried. Chris was truly moved.
