Thanksgiving 2005

I'd like to start by saying that I am amazingly thankful for my family and friends. You are my life and I love you all.

Yesterday, Thanksgiving 2005, was a wonderful success. A few memorable moments included:

1. Starting the day by taking Seb to the doctor only to find out he had a double ear infection.
2. Seb falling asleep at 11:00 am and not waking up until after 4:00 in the afternoon seeming to feel 100% better! Thank you God!
3. The smell of Thanksgiving day turkey cooking.
4. Tasting the fabulous wines that people brought over (Thank you Andrew and Deb)
5. Kids running around, the place like a zoo or madhouse, and everyone just enjoying it.
6. Darwin bringing over his specially ordered 30 lb ham, after finding out (after it was cooked) that it was actually a lamb shoulder.
7. CJ's "entertaining" behaviour towards the end of the evening. For example stealing the largest habenaero pepper off Dawn's pepper tree and eating it. Or telling Porkchop and his fellow Seahawks just what he thinks of their game these days (note: They responded with an "uh. Thanks....").

And what's a post without pictures....

Looks like your family had a lovely holiday. I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog. Mind if I ask a question? I love the color of your living room ... would you happen to know the name of the paint color? I'd love to paint our living room the same.
